Facebook Privacy Settings
A few tips to control WHO see's WHAT on your Facebook page! very useful to avoid randoms seeing photos of your kids, and your boss checking out your work nite drinks aye!?
1) First thing is first, you need to go through your friends list, and categorise them into lists.
ie: Work People, School Friends, Family, Randoms, Creeps (whatever). once you have gone through your friends list, the job will be easy, as you can add new friends to lists as you accept or invite them to be your friend.
2) Goto your Settings - > Privacy Settings, and configure your basic privacy preferences. note you can customise your settings: ie: Allow Friends EXCEPT randoms and creeps :P
3) you can now do the same for your photo albums (each album has it's own privacy settings in the options.
4) New feature, each time you post/share something on facebook, you can click on the little privacy padlock to select who can see the individual item you are publishing.
5) You can preview your profile as another person to test you are getting the results you are trying to achieve. This is done under the Settings -> Privacy Settings -> select any category -> select [Preview My Profile], and type in the name of the person you want to preview as.
I hope you find this information useful!
